LO5 - Evaluating next steps of development of website
M3 improvements based on feedback
One of my feedback comments was that the "Products" text on the homepage which is meant to be hyperlinked to the products page wasn't working and took you to a page which said it wasn't available. This feedback allowed me to see that I didn't hyperlink the text correctly so based on this feedback I went back and hyperlinked the text to the correct page and tested it myself to ensure that it now works and the user can get to where they're trying to go to.
One of my other feedbacks from Will was that he filled out the contact form and it wouldn't actually send the form with there being 4 boxes one for your name, email, subject and the actual comment. Once the form was filled in and he clicked "Send form" it said that an email had not been filled in on the subject line of the form so I fixed this by deleting the subject and email then I readded the email box as in the comments of one of my suggestions it was that I didn't need a subject box as all forms which were being sent are important as the next.
One of my feedbacks was a suggestion of bringing the shopping cart closer into the frame as it was located in the top right of the page. I took the suggestion and thought it would make sense to put it along the navigation bar next to the search bar so that it was easy to see and the user didn't have to look around for the cart. The background of the navigation bar is red so I thought I would put the cart in black which made it stand out and made it easy to see and locate.
Evaluating website based on feedback
When reading through the feedback I have evaulated that the website has a lot of useful information and a lot of useful links to social media pages, videos, pages and more. I have looked at some comments with things which aren't working like contact forms for example which need to be fixed in order for the audience to be able to use them. I need to ensure all my pages are hyperlinked correctly to ensure that the user can navigate to where they want to be on the site.
I have realised some decisions which I made when creating the website were correct like videos have been embedded which means the user is able to play the video on the website without taking the user off the website. When the social media links are clicked it opens a new tab without taking the user away from the site to have to retype the website link back in.

LO4 - Website Testing
I will be finding 5 different people to test different
aspects of my website to ensure that they’re working like the Navigation,
hyperlinks, loading times, different browsers and devices and house style and
design. They will then fill in the table stating the input, which could be “Mouse
click YouTube video” Expected output “Plays YouTube video on site without
taking you off the site” Actual Output “Video doesn’t work” or “Video works and
plays fine” Fix required “Not Required” Test complete “Test by Will”

Lesson Objective
In today's lesson I will be fixing the problem of the map not loading on my "Contact us" page which is at fault due to other plugins or javascript error so I have updated all plugins and will disable them if need to in order for it to work then reenable them.
I will be setting the "home" page I have created as the homepage instead of the one which was already there
I will also be changing the colour of the navigation bar to make it look more interesting for the user on the website.
